Information:-

JEE Main 2021 Phase I (February) has been scheduled for February 23  – 26, 2021. As confirmed by the official notification, JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in four sessions i.e. in February, March, April and May. JEE Main 2021 Registration deadline has now been extended until January 23, 2021. Candidates can pay the application fee by January 24, 2021. Apply for JEE Main 2021. Considering the reduction in CBSE and other state board syllabus’, JEE Main Exam Pattern has been revised. JEE Main 2021 Paper 1 for B-Tech will have 90 questions and candidates will be required to solve 75 questions. For 15 optional questions, there will be no negative marking. There is no change in JEE Main Syllabus this year.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2021

Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2021 would be conducted on July 3, 2021. The Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, Nishank announced the dates and also the revised eligibility criteria. Due to the pandemic, the concession in the 75% aggregate requirement of class 12 has been removed this year as well. According to this 75% criteria, students should have obtained a minimum of 75 per cent marks in the Class 12 examination or have the top 20 percentile in Class 12/qualifying examination held by the respective Boards to be eligible to apply for admission.


Age Criteria:-
  1. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2021 examination.
  2. Candidates who have cleared their Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2019 and 2020 are eligible to take this exam.<br>

Educational Qualifications:-

Candidates must have passed qualifying examination with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% in aggregate of the QE to sit for B. Planning Paper. B.E/ B. Tech applicants must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. For B. Arch, candidates must have passed the Qualifying Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.


Maximum attempts for JEE Main examination:-

Students can attempt in any or all four JEE Main 2021 attempts. Students may have doubts on how many JEE Main attempts they will be provided. As per NTA, students can appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years from passing their class 12.


Year of appearance in qualifying examination:-

Candidates who have qualified their XII or equivalent exam in 2019, 2020 or appearing in 2021 are eligible to sit for JEE Main 2021.

JEE Main 2021---What's New?

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2021 official notification on December 16. With the release of the JEE Main 2021 brochure, various changes have been observed including an increase in the number of JEE Main 2021 attempts. As per the JEE Main 2021 exam dates, NTA will conduct exams on February 23 to 26 (Session 1), March 15 to 18 (Session 2), April 27 to 30 (Session 3), and May 24 to 28 (Session 4).The NTA has increased the total number of attempts for candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year. The JEE Main 2021 will be held in February 2021 followed by the next three sessions in March, April, and May. Students can attempt in either or all four JEE Main 2021 attempts.


Regional language:-

Another change that has been made this year is the decision to conduct the JEE Main 2021 exam in regional languages. Now, NTA JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi, English and Gujarati.


JEE Main 2021 Form Correction

NTA has released the JEE Main correction date 2021. The application form correction of JEE Main 2021 will start from January 27 to 30, 2021. The direct JEE Main Correction window 2021 link will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to modify/rectify details in their filled application form through JEE Main 2021 form correction. Students who made mistakes in JEE MAIN form 2021 will be able to make corrections through the JEE application form correction facility. Students have to login using their registration number and password to make corrections in the JEE Main 2021 form. The facility of JEE Main photo correction will also be available. JEE Main admit card will be issued only to those candidates who fill and submit the form within specified time. JEE Main photo correction facility will also be provided to students. National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2021 February session from February 23 to 26


JEE Main Exam Pattern 2021

Changes in the exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 are also introduced. According to the new JEE Main 2021 exam pattern, the paper 1 i.e. for B-Tech will have a total of 90 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Math's. Each subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for numerical value questions.
